More than 100 small businesses across New Jersey received U.S. Small Business Administration loans from M&T Bank during the 2016 federal fiscal year as the bank expanded its financing support to local businesses.
M&T, which recently acquired 97 bank branches in New Jersey, now ranks as the state’s fourth largest SBA lender, the bank stated in a news release.
My InstaDoc Urgent Care in Monroe is one of those local success stories. The entrepreneurial medical company received $ 765,000 in SBA financing to help make building improvements and purchase medical equipment and supplies. This helped bring an additional medical service option to the residents of Monroe.
My InstaDoc Urgent Care opened its new facility in a small medical park at 298 Applegarth Road, sharing a building with outpatient services offered by St. Peter’s Hospital. The M&T-financed urgent care business is a partnership between businesswoman Komal Desai and two local medical doctors, Dr. Chirag Patel and Dr. Markintosh Barthelemy.
