Roland Littlefield and Fran Riley, Co-Owners of UNITED REALTY are thrilled to announce the sale of 149 High Street to Kim and Allen Weaver of Belfast. This is an amazing property, consisting of a sidewalk entrance to the commercial first floor unit. This stunning first floor will soon become the New Location of Waldo County’s Best Salon, GLOW! Kim Riposta Weaver, Glow’s owner, is looking forward to relocating her First Class Salon in this spectacular space in the coming weeks. She and Allen will be completing some updates to the Glow Salon unit with renovations slated for completion soon with a Grand Re-Opening to be announced! This building also includes 3 lovely apartment units!
Congratulations also go out to the Sellers of 149 High Street, Mark and Susan Tobey White. The White’s purchased this lovely building in 2002 and over the years made major improvements and updates to this grand old historic building, keeping it in remarkable condition for the next owners to enjoy. Many folks, local and from away, have fond memories enjoying painting workshops which Susan held in her art gallery for years, High Street Studio & Gallery. She’s not going away folks so stay tuned for updates on Susan and her Gallery!
We are delighted for Kim, Allen, Susan and Mark and the only thing that could make this transaction any more delightful was to have the opportunity to work with The White’s Realtor, Sam Mitchell from Worth Real Estate. Sam and Fran go way back together, not only in real estate but as friends, so it was particularly special to complete this sale with Sam. Everyone worked together in seeing this sale through seamlessly and we appreciate the effort put forth by all!
Attorney Lee Woodward, Jr. from Woodward Law Offices represented the Weavers and conducted the closing on behalf of Damariscotta Bank & Trust. Attorney Alexandra Caulfield from Dummond Woodsum Law Office in Portland conducted the SBA portion of the closing with the coordination of Lee, which was completed in an astonishing 50 minutes, amazing for an SBA Loan closing! Field Rider from Pine Tree State CDC coordinated the loan processing with the Weavers. Attorney William Kelly represented the Whites.
Congratulations to everyone and Kim, we look forward to your New Location and Grand Re-Opening of Glow! All the Best!
